Stimulating your very intellect right now is a complex system of interactive cyber channels that are being transmitted through various networks which compose the World Wide Web.  Whether you're connected to a router through a wireless adapter, or directly plugged into your ISP's network via the copper wires and fiber optic cables through the computers various inputs, your connected to a unity of networks that make up this conscious entity that now takes the center pole throughout global and local communication. So what would life be like without the internet? Obviously it would be crippling to our habitual way of being lazy, pirating software, spending all day surfing myspace, looking at porn, or using this beautiful creation of linked minds in any other wasteful way that the majority of users seem to favor. But on the more important side, life without the internet would substantially take a chunk out of intellectual and artistic interaction.

Available to your brains disposal is an almost infinite library of information on every topic that you can possibly imagine. Available to your brains disposal is a collection of art, music, and photography coming from all corners of the globe. Available to your brains disposal are a number of forums, chat rooms, personal networking sites, and numerous other webpages where you can connect your ideas, your values, and your beliefs with a global consciousness that is screaming for further attention.

There is an unlimited amount of ways that you can add to the constant expansion of this conscious network; so what's stopping you from taking a step further and participating in the cyber revolution? It's a fact that the internet is the new media, but the one thing that's special about this new media is that it's an interactive media. Entertainment won't just be you watching a donkey and an elephant having a debate in a democratic circus, but rather, it will be you debating with those donkeys and elephants through this medium that allows yet a further step to diversify opinions in the mind of mainstream America. The future is the internet, that much is clear; but the future of the internet will be dictated by those who participate in it. What it all boils down to is the motivation to change, because the chance is there, but the incentive to take that chance must be pursued by us all; we are the new age, we are the revisionists, and our means of a revision is right here in front of our eyes.

I'm rather surprised that I haven't stumbled upon this website before; it definitely kills myspace or facebook in my opinion. But the origin of my encounter with this bloging site lays in my search for musical promotion. I just did a simple google search involving record labels and how to get noticed by them, and here appears a site linking me to Columbia's Vox page. So my original intentions were to purely promote my music, but now that I see this site has much more to offer than just that, I'm going to start using it as a promotional tool purely for my consciousness. This is the lovely thing about the internet folks; its a conscious network, a medium for minds to connect globally! I really hope good things come out of this rather new approach of public media--which has the capacity to change everything if used with the proper intentions.
